Angela Roi

Angela Roi is a luxury vegan handbag brand with deep commitments to craft and sustainability. I worked as a strategist and copywriter on two campaigns, each celebrating cutting-edge techniques used to transform fun, familiar materials into stylish accessories: cactus and apples.

For the first campaign, Cacta, I wrote copy that brought to life the process of zero-irrigation organic farming in Zacatecas, Mexico—harvesting, re-harvesting, and sun-drying that transforms a cactus into a chemical-free crossbody bag.

I worked in a similar way on the brand’s collaboration with award-winning industrial designer Luca Nichetto. These bags are hand-crafted in the same Italian factory as products from some of the world’s most prestigious fashion houses, and feature the novel inclusion of apple leather, peels and cores that are byproducts of apple juice processing.
